Just embraced by this summer heat
And some plants reaching their leaves towards the glaring sun
Greeting and thriving
And the afterglow of last evening
still radiating beautifully
Into this very moment
Is it even gone?
Will it even leave?
What is it that can be forgotten?
A deep feeling of amazement
Of what just is
“Ordinary” doesn’t do it justice
Although it might appear
Simple
To a mind that is seeking for sensation
For something special
Extraordinary
Not from this world
And then it’s just this smile
This lovely gaze
These vibrant eyes
Reaching into this seeing and feeling
Something shared
That was never divided
That was never not
Life embracing itself
In its wildness
And tenderness
Bewildered familiar
A sigh of gratitude
Without reason
Without a trace
Adhuc
